A new intelligence-led startup, AVIEL Intelligence, has emerged from stealth with an ambitious mission: to stop financial scams before they happen. Founded by ex-Google operators, the former UK director of what3words, and leading intelligence experts, AVIEL Intelligence has secured a £350,000 pre-seed investment round led by Fuel Ventures, one of the UK's leading early-stage venture capital firms. The round also includes backing from Cambridge Angels and a range of other angel investors including respected experts across the cybersecurity industry.

Trusted, a UK-based technology startup transforming how B2B enterprises harness customer advocacy, has closed a £1 million pre-seed funding round led by Fuel Ventures. The investment will accelerate the development of Trusted's platform, which empowers businesses to convert their happiest customers into their most powerful growth engine.

Fuel Ventures has led an investment round for pioneering climate-success company, 51toCarbonZero, the first platform to ensure effective corporate transition to net zero while boosting clients' business performance. The £3 million funding round, which includes contributions from angel investors, follows a previous investment by Fuel Ventures and reflects the significant growth 51toCarbonZero has achieved since then.

Early-career hiring platform Vizzy has raised £3.65 million in a seed round led by Adjuvo, with participation from notable angels including former Workday executive Rob Wells and former England Rugby coach Sir Clive Woodward.

Cloud Retail, the e-commerce software platform founded by Marat Bolatov and Artur Shamalov and formerly known as Jiffy, which provides full-stack software solutions for any vertical to transform sales to online and build a robust ecommerce system, has successfully raised $2.2 million led by I2BF Global Ventures and Somersault Ventures with many existing investors, including business angels, participating.

Hammer Missions an AI company revolutionising how owners, architects, engineers and contractors inspect built structures, has raised £1.4 million in new funding with participation from ACF Investors, and angel investors including Graham Hunter (Founder and former Chair at GeoSLAM), Martin Grant (former CEO, Energy at Atkins) and Stephen Bullock (serial tech investor and former President at E100 Angels).

The funding will accelerate its AI technology development and strategic expansion into North America.

Cloud Capital, a startup founded by repeat SaaS entrepreneurs, has launched out of stealth with $7.7 million in funding to help CFOs regain financial control of their cloud infrastructure. As AI accelerates cloud usage, Cloud Capital is launching the first FinTech platform built for cloud.
