- 0 commentsFuuse, the UK’s leading electric vehicle charge point management platform, has secured substantial funding to propel its next phase of growth in the UK and Ireland. Investment has come from lead investor YFM Equity Partners, and existing investors Par Equity and an angel syndicate.
Based in Lancaster and employing over 60 staff, Fuuse has grown by 400% in the last 12 months and now serves over 750 clients and over 70,000 active users. It also processes enough electricity each year to power the whole of the UK for an hour, as well as processing millions in charging payments.

Other investors to participate in the round include previous investors, HCVC and Robin Capital; as well as angel investment from Bernhard Mohr, former VP Gas Detection at Dräger, and David Rowan’s VOYAGERS Climate-Tech Fund. atmio will use the funding to go to market, develop its product, hire new engineers, and build out a new marketing and customer success team.

This investment will allow VoltShare to reach a wider audience of hospitality businesses, further solidifying its position as a leader in this sector.

- 0 commentsCanada: Toronto-based nanotechnology startup Mesosil has closed $2.2 million CAD in seed funding to ramp up its production and fuel its commercialization plans.
Spun out of the University of Toronto, Mesosil is developing nanometre-scale, silica-based additives designed to prevent infection and disease at the tissue-biomaterial level and extend the lifespan of dental and medical devices like fillers and implants.
After years of research and development, Mesosil has finalized its flagship material and the startup says it is ready to scale up production to meet customer demand in the dentistry space with fresh funding from deep tech-focused GreenSky Ventures and a group of other investors.
