Almanax secures $1m to accelerate growth and innovation in web3 security

Web security company Almanax has secured $1 million investment which will enable the company to accelerate its growth.

This funding round brings onboard a distinguished group of investors, including Blockchain Builders Fund, Exor Ventures, Vento Ventures, Italian Angels for Growth (IAG), Eden Ventures by IAG, Moonbase, and several strategic angels. Almanax has closed $1.5 million to date and hired key talents from firms like Fireblocks, Circle, Mastercard, and institutions like MIT.

Aston University reaches business partnership milestone

 

A government programme that was founded half a century ago has reached a milestone at Aston University.

 

Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (KTP) were established to boost UK businesses through collaboration with universities and other research organisations.

As the KTP scheme turns 50, Aston University has reached its own milestone by managing 40 projects concurrently, more than at any other time in its history. This is the largest KTP portfolio in the UK.

OnHand Secures £750,000 Investment from Northstar Ventures

Northstar Ventures has led a £750,000 investment round into OnHand, the innovative social impact platform enabling businesses to become more responsible by empowering employees to drive meaningful change through corporate social responsibility initiatives. £325,000 has been invested by the North East Innovation Fund supported by the European Regional Development Fund and £175,000 from Northstar's EIS Growth Fund, alongside investment by 24 Haymarket. Total investment in OnHand to date now tops over £5m.
