Biotech firm Lentitek secures £1 million to advance next-gen cancer treatments

Edinburgh-based biotech company Lentitek Ltd has secured £700,000 in private funding from Equity Gap, a leading Scottish angel investment syndicate, bringing its total investment to £1 million in the last six months. This follows a £300,000 Innovate UK grant awarded recently, earlier, accelerating the development and commercialisation of its groundbreaking viral vector technology for next-generation cancer treatments.

WEARABLE tech start-up UNA Watch has secured more than £300,000 investment from SFC Capital as it prepares to take on industry giants Apple and Garmin with the world's first repairable modular GPS sports watch.

Edinburgh-based UNA Watch, which also won the £100,000 top prize from Scottish EDGE last year, is pioneering a new category of sustainable smartwatches, allowing users to repair, replace, and upgrade components instead of discarding entire devices.
