HDM Solar secures backing from Angel Invest and DF Capital

HDM Solar, one of the UK's fastest-growing wholesalers of renewable energy products, has announced a major £10.2m funding boost led by a multi-million pound equity investment from Angel Invest in Berlin and supported by UK based DF Capital. The business will use the investment and working capital facility to accelerate the rollout of a nationwide network of branches which will generate new jobs and provide local support to installers, businesses and consumers in every corner of the country.

Wondercraft raises $3m to build AI-powered ‘Canva of Audio’

AI audio content pioneer Wondercraft has raised a $3m Seed round to scale its ‘Canva of audio’ platform in a round led by Will Ventures and backed by Y Combinator,  ElevenLabs, Steven Bartlett and other Angels. Sixth Wave Ventures to grow its angel investment fund

Operated via Sixth Wave Angel Group (SWAG), the fund invests directly in early-stage companies developing proprietary technologies that tackle fundamental global challenges using science-backed approaches.

Most recently, Sixth Wave Ventures led the seed round of D-time Ltd, helping them fund the development of their Dtechtive platform. The £245,000 raised will enable D-time to build technology that will generate enormous value for data search engines like Google.
