A most interesting article Modwenna. I agree there are probably no more than 10,000 "angel investors" in the UK i.e. investing £25k+ in early stage deals. But the target investment market for early-stage companies will be significantly lower. At Envestors Private Investor Club we assume only 5% of angels are actively seeking new investment opportunities at any one time. That means to prospect pool goes down to max 500, which makes finding the match between entrepreneur and investor even more challenging. Keep up the good work. Very best wishes, Oliver Woolley
